Treat your first clears as a Demon Shade purchase: only take pre-6 kills that already belong to your camp route, because Evelynn loses more from brush-hovering and half-ganks than from skipping a thin play
Allure is not an announcement—if the target dies without a full heart, press W late or partial, and if you are already in range, proc with E or auto instead of betting the whole kill on first Q from a bad angle
Put the heart on the bodyguard, not the carry: a lot of Evelynn’s clean wins come from marking the support or frontline piece that makes the formation safe, and that hidden-setup style stays live deep into long games because camouflage keeps taking safe routes off the map
When R is down, shrink your standards and your routes. Stop looking for the full backline kill and start taking the parts of the map that still belong to you: your camps, the side lane that has to overextend one more wave, and the support or low-mobility carry who has to walk through fog without full help. You can still kill people, but the clean version is shorter and less heroic—late W, point-blank E, and leave if the angle is not already there. If nothing obvious appears, keep clearing. Evelynn gets punished hard for forcing without R, and she gets paid well for being patient until the map gives her a smaller, simpler pick.
When out of combat, Evelynn enters Demon Shade. Demon Shade heals Evelynn when she is low on health and grants Camouflage after level 6.
Evelynn strikes out with her Lasher, dealing damage to the first unit hit. Then, Evelynn can shoot a line of spikes at nearby foes a few times.
Evelynn curses her target, causing her next attack or spell after a delay to charm her target and reduce their magic resist.
Evelynn whips her target with her Lasher, dealing damage. She then gains Move Speed for a short duration.
Evelynn briefly goes untargetable and decimates the area in front of her before warping backwards a long distance.
